The small print, softly said
Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 July 2026
Grá Weddings is a small planning studio run by Emma Ferris, based in Ireland. I take the privacy of couples who reach out to me seriously — the information you share is only ever used to help plan your day.
Who is the data controller
Emma Ferris, trading as Grá Weddings (Ireland). You can reach me by phone or WhatsApp on +353 87 784 4283 or through the contact form.
What I collect
- Your name and the name of your partner.
- Contact details you share — email address, phone number.
- Your provisional wedding date, guest count, budget range and any notes you send through the enquiry form.
- Basic technical information (browser type, approximate location) generated automatically when you visit the site.
Why I use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a proposal.
- To plan and deliver the services you've booked me for.
- To keep the records I'm legally required to hold (invoices, contracts).
- To occasionally share a note or a wedding update if you've agreed to that.
I rely on your consent when you submit an enquiry, and on the performance of our contract once you've booked me.
Who sees it
Your details are not sold, rented or shared for marketing. I use a small number of trusted service providers to run the studio — things like secure hosting, email, and form submissions — and share the minimum information needed with them. I may share relevant details with venues or suppliers we're working with on your day, but only with your say-so.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into a booking are kept for up to 12 months, then quietly deleted. Records for couples I've worked with are kept for 7 years to meet Irish tax and accounting obligations, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access the information I hold about you, to correct it, to ask me to delete it, to restrict or object to how I use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, just get in touch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland).
Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies — small pieces of data that keep the site working (for example, remembering that you've dismissed the cookie banner). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it.
